I'm having one of those days. I just looked everywhere for my wallet, then discovered it's in my left hand. Scary. Does this happen to any one else or is my mind degenerating quicker than the average person?
believe me, that has happened to me more times than i can count. just the other day, i was flipping out, looking for my phone... that was in my pocket.
i think i've written to you about this, but my brain is just not what it used to be.
I do this kind of thing all the time, especially now that I'm pregnant. I thought pregnancy brain was a myth - I was wrong! And my sister tells me that her brain still isn't fully functional two years after her baby was born. Ouch!!
I do that all the time. I looked and looked in my purse for my keys the other day, only to find myself holding them in my mouth. It was only after I took them out to see if anyone had seen them that I realized it...weird!
Oh, God - this is my LIFE! I honestly think I would misplace the baby if he wasn't so vocal! (I've spent hours searching for my keys, only to find they were in my pocket... I've gone on mad rampages looking for the baby's pacifier, only to find it looped around my finger... I've looked everywhere for my cell phone, only to find it in my hand... The list can go on for days.)
Janette~ Your timing of this post was brilliant for me. That is because I just ran back into the ballet studio with all three kids in tow in a somehat panicked state looking for my purse, which was not on the piano where I left it. This puzzled the teacher as well, because she remembered seeing it there also. At that moment, I caught a glimpse of my purse in the full length studio mirror..on my arm, next to my toddler who was also held by same arm. I guess the weight of my toddler camoflauged the purse on my arm. Yeah, that's it! ;-P
